On behalf of the South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung and Bengkulu Branch of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association, I am honored to extend my warmest greetings to all participants of the Continuing Orthopaedic Education 2026.

This year’s theme, “Rediscovering Basic Orthopaedic Principles to Drive Future Breakthroughs,” reminds us that true innovation is firmly rooted in strong fundamentals. As orthopaedic surgeons, our mastery of basic principles remains the foundation upon which future advancements are built.

GREETINGS OF PRESIDENT OF INDONESIAN ORTHOPAEDIC ASSOCIATION

Dear Esteemed Members of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association,

This time has come that the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) will be hosting

the Continuing Orthopaedic Education (COE) of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) on May 12-16, 2026 at Novotel Palembang Hotel & Residencel. The venue will be held in Palembang, the capital city of South Sumatera.

The organizing committee, led by dr. Primadika and his team, has promised this event will be unforgotten, both scientifically and socially. You can also meet with colleagues as old acquaintances and dig out old memories.

I urge all members of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) and also to General Practitioners and other specialists to mark the dates on your gadget and arrange your transportation early.

One thing for sure, the success of the this event will also need the participation and support of pharmaceutical and healthcare product companies as well. On this occasion, hopefully all the companies will participate in the exhibition of the 74th Continuing Orthopaedic Education of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA).
