Dear IOA members, delegates, colleague, and friends,

On behalf of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA), it is my great pleasure to cordially welcome you all to our73rd Continuing Orthopaedic Education (COE) of Indonesian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) in the hero’s city of Surabaya, East Java. Surabaya is one of East Java’s most vibrant cultural hotspots, with a history dating back, excellent art exhibitions, an iconic vibes, which together guarantees varied social activities.

This year, we will meet at Vasa Hotel Surabaya, On May 8-10, 2025. In the spirit of Continuing Orthopaedic Education (COE), the committee will facilitate the exchange of research and development in Orthopaedic surgery and related sciences throughout Indonesia, with participants from whole over Indonesia.

Continuing Orthopaedic Education (COE), most gratefully acknowledges the efforts of the local organizing committee, led by conference chairs, the head of IOA Branch for East Java as well. We further welcome delegates from whole over Indonesia, with a plenary lecture by expert, contributions by International Faculty.

This year’s conference program thus promises an exciting array of presentations and we are looking forward to an engaging three days, packed with contributions to a wide range of Minimal Invasive Procedure themes and topics through inter-disciplinary cooperations.

Dear Esteemed Colleagues,

All praise and gratitude be to God Almighty for His blessings, through which the 73rd Continuing Orthopaedic Education of the Indonesian Orthopaedic Association will be held in Surabaya on May 8–10, 2025.

The COE is a prestigious scientific event eagerly anticipated by orthopaedic doctors across Indonesia, as well as by future orthopaedic specialists currently undergoing residency training. It serves as a vital platform for sharing knowledge, enhancing skills, and fostering professional connections among colleagues from all regions of Indonesia.

The 73rd COE of IOA this year will be the most memorable event. Never been held in previous COE, the highlights are quiz competition, talent show by IOA branches, debate of President IOA candidates, Joy Sailing, and Gala Dinner with a special guest performance.

In this occasion, we cordially invite all IOA members throughout Indonesia, as well as residents and general practitioners, to participate in this distinguished event. Your presence and active participation will greatly contribute to the success of the program.
